As individuals and parents, we all need each other.
I am an advocate for creating and maintaining a healthy postpartum recovery. I believe this is a special time where all parents, and families, deserve to feel peace and happiness. After working in high tech industries for 12 years, it was the experience (and huge challenges) of having my two children that ignited my passion for helping parents through the postpartum transition.
I had severe postpartum depression (PPD), trauma, and anxiety after the birth of my first child, and it changed my life drastically. I was unexpectedly sad, confused, angry and internally struggled through the typical motions of being a new mom for an entire year. I was not able to enjoy the happiness of motherhood that I knew I deserved. I felt so isolated even when I was surrounded by people, and could not understand what I was feeling. Help was difficult to find, and so I silently suffered internally.
I was determined to make a change in the postpartum experience for other families. I became a mental health coach and postpartum doula to provide the empathy, education and validation that we all need as parents.
I would be honored to work with you, and be a part of your postpartum wellness team. I look forward to meeting you!
